Andrea Iannone took his second consecutive pole position, his third this Moto2 season, after topping the time sheets around the Montmelo track.
Iannone has won the last two times he has claimed the pole position, and will go for win number three from the front row of the grid tomorrow at Catalunya. Iannone finished with a 1'47.493 time, claiming the top spot on the time sheet on his penultimate lap.
Yuki Takahashi was next in line, claiming his best qualifying finish this season with second place. Takahashi finished .267 seconds behind the Fimmco Speed Up team rider, and just ahead of Thomas Luthi.
Season Leader Toni Elias will complete the front row.
