James Toseland and “Crash” to perform Aug. 29 at Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix

Yamaha Motor Corp. USA Press Release

Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix

Yamaha Motor Corporation and Indianapolis Motor Speedway are pleased to bring fans a rock concert headlined by Monster Tech 3 Moto GP racer James Toseland and his band, Crash, to the Red Bull Indianapolis GP on Saturday, Aug. 29.

Having previously performed to enthusiastic crowds during the past two Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix events at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, James and his band will take to the stage for the first time for Indy MotoGP fans. The concert is scheduled to begin shortly following Saturday afternoon’s Moto GP qualifying session at approximately 4:45 p.m. on the Turn 6 Stage in the Speedway infield.

“We are very excited to have James and his band perform now for the enthusiastic Indianapolis fans,” said Bob Starr, Yamaha’s General Manager of National Communications, “and once again, Yamaha Music has supplied all of the band’s instruments, so this is just fantastic for the Yamaha brand!”

“Everyone enjoyed James’ talents on the piano with members of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra last year during the Red Bull Indianapolis GP,” said Mel Harder, Indianapolis Motor Speedway senior vice president, operations. “So we know our fans will be thrilled to hear James and Crash rock the stage this year with their high-energy performance.”
