The Harley Davidson XE1200 filled the Daytona Motor Speedway with the deep rumblings of old school American power. By lap two #33 Kyle Wyman led a breakaway group of four riders.

At the start of the third lap #29 Tyler O'Hara literally elbowed his way to the front of the pack of four. The lead group of four riders were lapping in the 2:07's as they went three and four wide across the start finish line.

On lap four #34 Michael Barnes took the lead and began to stretch out a short lead from this leading pack. The sprint race featured an intense battle between the four riders that qualified on row one including; #33 Kyle Wyman, #34 Michael Barnes, #29 Tyler OHara and #123 David Estok.

It looked as if #33 Kyle Wyman was out of it, as he ran a fairly distant third place approaching the finish line. Then in the last few feet, as #29 Tyler OHara passed race leader #34 Michael Barnes, #33 pass them both winning by just .116.
