Red Bull Teka KTM factory rider Max Nagl recently underwent his second back injury to fix an injury he suffered last MX1 season.
Nagl is up and out of bed but he won't be able to hop back on a motorcycle for a little while.
"It was an old injury and in the beginning I didn't feel it, but then I put out the disk and I had pain for the rest of the season. This was disappointing because I felt that I could have easily been in the top three at the end of the season. I finished in the top five so that was still good."
KTM released a press release today saying that Nagl will be able to resume training this February. He is expected to start testing in March.
"This is a new experience for me," he said. "At the moment I can only walk and rest."
