The TTXGP has grown into a full-fledged racing series in just a few short years. From its first race in 2009 to the global championship last year, the TTXGP is one of the fastest growing series in motorsports.
The series started as an almost laughable exercise with empty grids and slow times, but the progress these electric motorcycles have made over the last two seasons is astonishing.
Numerous records have been set and the bikes have been starting to gain a following on the track. This year the Mission One team brought its electric motorcycle within ten seconds of the MotoGP pole time at Laguna Seca. And the bikes are only getting faster.
