The North American leg of the 2011 TTXGP concluded this weekend and Steve Atlas and Brammo came out on top. Brammo took third place this weekend at Miller Motorsports Park, but it was enough to clinch the electric motorcycle racing championship.
"It's incredible to think how far we have progressed in such a short period of time," said Brian Wiseman, Director of Engineering for Brammo. "It's not just the racing technology too, but also the production technology so for Brammo, everything we do for racing is about taking that technology to the street, and that's why we have teamed up with TTXGP."
Thad Wolff and the MotoElectra team took second in the championship, while the MotoCzysz team took their second consecutive win of the season. The Lightning Motors team brought the world's fastest electric motorcycle to MMP, but the Lightning team could only secure a second place finish behind Shane Turpin and the MotoCzysz boys.
The European and Australian championships will wrap up in the next few weeks.
