The first round of the TTXGP has come and gone, and the Mission Motors team isn’t off to the best start. The Mission Motors team backed out of the opening event, saying that they were having problems with their Mission R Electric Motorcycle.
Whatever the problem was, it looks like the Mission Motors team has it under control. Steve Rapp took the Mission R Electric Motorcycle around the Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca last weekend and set a new electric motorcycle lap record.

“Over the weekend, Mission Motors participated in REFUEL, a Time Trial event for clean power vehicles at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Our rider, Steve Rapp, took the track on the Mission R and set a new EV motorcycle lap record of 1:43.7. The event was an excellent opportunity to test and hone our latest electric vehicle technology. By continuing to push the boundaries of our technology on the racetrack, we improve the efficiency and reliability of the components in our client’s vehicles.”
