TTXGP Series Expands to Australia Hot

ttxgpElectric motorcycle racing is growing at an incredible rate. The technology is getting better and these bikes are getting closer and closer to achieving the same speed and excitement of their bigger petrol brothers. And with more speed come more fans. And with more fans, come more races. The TTXGP is proud to announce that the ePower series will be joining the Australian FX Superbike Championship in 2011.

The Australian FX Superbike Championship is a 6 round series that starts in March and ends in November. The TTXGP's partnership with the FX Superbike series will give Australia its first Australian National e-Championship.

"We are very excited to be working with ARTRP and help launch a new naitonal electric championship. EFXC/TTXGP will be a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to join the growing group of EV racers as well as sponsor a new, exciting, high profile race series," said Azhar Hussain, founder and CEO of the TTXGP. "ARTRP is both pioneering and hugely successful; they make an ideal partner for TTXGP to work with and help nurture a fast growing electric race series."

Terry O'Neil, the managing director of the ARTRP said "we are very excited to be part of the expanding world of TTXGP electric motorcycle racing. We have always been involved in innovative ideas to further morotcycle racing in Australia, we started by having the first motorcycle carbon neutral racing events in the southern hemisphere and now by encouraing the local EV patrons to get involved building racing motorcycles. It seemed logical to be partnering with TTXGP and having spent a long time disccusing with Azhar, our and his visions, the decision was simple."
