KTM: Bobbitt Extended

KTM extends contract with Russell Bobbitt

KTM Press Release

KTM Motorsports is proud to announce an extended one-year contract with three-time National Enduro Champion Russell Bobbitt.

Bobbitt wrapped up his third National Enduro Championship aboard his KTM machine Sunday, October 4, 2009 and then signed the ink on a one-year contract with KTM for the 2010 season. Bobbitt will continue to race National Enduro Series for 2010 to defend his number one plate.

Currently, Bobbitt is traveling to Portugal where he will compete as a member of the USA Junior Trophy Team at the legendary ISDE event. Before leaving for his trip this morning he remarked, “I couldn’t be happier to win a championship yesterday, re-sign with my Shock Doctor/KTM team and now head to Portugal to represent my country. I’d have to say this has been a pretty good week.”

“We are happy to have Russell on board next season,” remarked Shock Doctor/KTM Team Manager Antti Kallonen. “We have won three championships together and are looking forward to a fourth.”
