For the third day in a row, Finland has extended their lead at the top of the Trophy Chase. Finland now leads the ISDE by 12 minutes ahead of Spain. The United States team was able to maintain their third place position, just a few minutes behind the Spanish team.
It's been a grueling few days in Finland as torrential down pours have made a difficult course nearly impossible.
"It's been a tough day because of the weather," explained Caselli. "One minute the sun's shining and then the next it's raining like crazy. I was having a pretty good day right up until the final special test. One minute everything was fine, the next I'm on the ground with mud all over my gloves and asking myself what the hell happened. I lost a lot of time, but I'm still leading the Enduro 2 class so I'm happy about that."
In the Junior Cup, the USA Team moved up another position into fourth. The Junior Cup team started the ISDE in 7th at the end of day one, but they have been making up grounds over the last few days. They have a long way to go, however, if they want to catch up to the Sweden team, who currently leads the Junior Cup.
Here's a video from Day 3 of the ISDE.
