The International Six Day Enduro kicked off today through the foothills of Finland. The home team lead the way during the first day of competition, but Spain, Australia, and the US are not far behind.
Eero Remes and Juha Salminen gave Finland the top two positions today, while Kurt Caselli finished with the third overall fastest time for the US.
Russell Bobbit put in another solid performance for the US team by capturing the 13th overall fastest time, while veteran Destry Abbot took 22nd.
Finland started the ISDE with an impressive day, putting five minutes between themselves and second place Spain. Australia is 8 minutes behind the leaders, while the US team is about 10 minutes back.

In the E2 class, Kurt Caselli had the fastest time during the opening day, while Bobbit and Destry also put in solid times to claim 7th and 11th.
Cory Buttrick had a rough first day at the ISDE, but managed to capture 32nd in the Junior's cup. The USA team is currently 7th in the Junior Cup Standings.
