James Stewart was probably getting a little nervous after going 8 races without a win. It was the biggest winless streak in Stewart’s career, but last night in St. Louis, Stewart showed that he could still climb to the top of the podium.
Former World MX2 Champion Ben Townley won’t be racing at the opening round of the 2011 FIM World Motocross Championships. Townley has been fighting off a string of injuries, and although he’s working hard to get back into shape, he will not be ready for the first race this weekend in Bulgaria.
Many motorcyclists have stepped up in recent weeks to raise money for disaster relief in Japan. Now Ryan Dungey and Rockstar Makita Suzuki team are doing their part. Dungey and Rockstar Makita Suzuki will be putting a special set of Fox race gear, the gear that Dungey wore at the Jacksonville Supercross event, up for auction to raise money for the tsunami and earthquake victims in Japan.
The 2011 AMA Supercross is heading into the final rounds of the season, and we're pretty tight at the top. After the St. Louis event on Saturday night, there will be just three races left in the 2011 racing season. Ryan Villopoto currently leads the way, but Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, Trey Canard and James Stewart are all within striking distance.
You see it during every race, and if you play MX Vs. ATV Alive, you probably see it every day. Bar to bar racing is a part of motorcycle racing.
