Ryan Dungey kicked off his career with KTM by stepping onto the podium at the end of the first race of the 2012 Supercross season. Dungey took third behind Chad Reed and defending champion Ryan Villopoto at Anaheim this weekend.
Dungey took the podium on the new KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition and gave KTM its first podium ever in Supercross.
"My bike ran flawlessly tonight," said Dungey. "I would have definitely liked to pass Chad and take 2nd tonight, but I am happy to earn KTM its first podium. I can't thank the team enough for all they have done for me in the development of this new bike."
Here's a post-race interview with Ryan Dungey.
