Throughout the 2011 Supercross season, GoPro has shot video from the rider’s vantage point. GoPro has just released the video from Ryan Sipes’ helmet cam, as he rides to victory during the Supercross Lites, Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Shootout main event.
“Throughout the season GoPro’s HD cameras have captured the up close and personal excitement that both riders and fans witness out on the track. The incredible videos that have been produced by the GoPro team have brilliantly captured the intensity of supercross,” said Tim Murray, vice president of sales, Feld Motor Sports. “We have received great support and incredible footage from GoPro this season and we look forward to continuing the relationship into the 2012 season.”
Ryan Sipes, part of the DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing Yamaha team, wore a GoPro camera throughout the 2011 season.
”I’m stoked to be a part of the GoPro team,” said Sipes. “The camera has been an awesome way for me to show the fans what it’s like to be racing at the front of the pack and be able to watch my footage after the race. The camera is so small and light, I can’t even feel it on my helmet.”
