James Stewart is just a day away from making his Supercross return. The multi-time Supercross champion will be riding with Team San Manuel at Anaheim Angel's Stadium this weekend and he can't wait to get back on a bike and compete.
"I'm super excited to get back to racing this weekend," Stewart said. "I've been anticipating my return for months."
The Supercross veteran will be joined by Kyle Regal, the 2009 Motocross "Rookie of the Year" from the 450 class. Regal has been undergoing some intense training with the San ManuelTeam in order to get ready for his premier class debut. Both Regal and Team San Manuel are optimistic about his chances.
"Kyle has incredible talent on the race track and has been putting in the laps needed to be ready for Saturday," said manager Larry Brooks. "I am entirely confident in his ability to finish high among the best in the sport this season."
With Stewart and Regal, Team San Manuel should have a very successful 2011 Supercross season.
"We are very fortunate to have the best riders and sponsors in the sport," Brooks said. "We are looking forward to chasing the Championship this year.”
