Supercross: James Stewart takes the podium in Toronto
AllAboutBikes Staff Writer

There is no beating the battle between James Stewart and Chad Reed in the 2009 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross. Equally impressive was Josh Hill’s third place podium finish at the main event coming from outside of the top ten over Josh Grant. This was Hill at his finest out performing himself for the season. The event became close when Stewart lost some ground after a rendezvous with a track marker. It gave Reed the chance he was looking for to close the gap and take the lead but Stewart persevered looking strong to the finish. This was his ninth win of the season.
It was the night for Yamaha having both Stewart and Hill celebrating on the podium in Rogers Centre with Reed taking second. This win puts James Stewart 8 points behind Chad Reed with only 4 rounds remaining in the Supercross series. The next event is scheduled in Jacksonville, Florida.
