With the Supercross championship title in hand, Ryan Dungey’s win in Las Vegas last night, could only be seen as a victory lap to cap off an amazing season.
Dungey led all 20 laps around the Las Vegas trap, a fantastic finale to his rookie season. Dungey’s win last night was his 6th main event win in the 2010 Supercross season.
"It has been an incredible season, and I am very proud of the championship," said Dungey.
Chad Reed was net across the line, and fan favorite, Kevin Windham, came across in third.
Windham finishes the season in second place behind Dungey. Davi Milsaps finishes third, and the injured Ryan Villopoto takes home fourth.
In the Supercross Lites, East/West shootout, season champions Jake Weimer and Christophe Pourcel went head to head. In the end, it was the West coast champion, Weimer, who earned the right to be called the Supercross Lites champion.
