Chad Reed is the winner in Daytona!

Round 10 of the Supercross 450 series was held under the lights at the Honda sponsored event at the Daytona International Speedway. The crowds started filtering in early in anticipation of the show ahead between the tied riders, Chad Reed and James Stewart. It was a nail biting event with Stewart showing strong in the first heat who started in 7th position bypassing the 6 riders ahead as if nothing was going to stop him.
In the second heat it was ultimately Chad Reed who was the winner and overall points lead in Daytona. The event was marked by a crash between Stewart and Hill and a battle for lead between Lawrence and Alessi only to be taken over by Reed who pulled it out to take the lead. Overall top three for the Supercross 450 are Chad Reed on his Suzuki, Jason Lawrence on his Yamaha and Davi Millsaps on his Honda.
