Chad Reed won his first AMA Supercross race of the 2009 season inside Lucas Oil Stadium tying the AMA Supercross class points. Chad is the defending AMA/FIM Supercross Champion.
Austin Stroupe won the first Eastern Regional AMA Supercross Lites class race of his 2009 season.
Stewart, who had seven consecutive race wins coming into Saturday’s race, passed Reed on lap 13 but Stewart’s second crash gave Reed the gap to victory. The Supercross class points race between Reed and Stewart are now tied at 199 heading into Daytona. Third place on the podium went to Mike Alessi, his first 450 Supercross podium!
