While competing today at Balen for the Belgian Championship, Clement Desalle crashed and fractured a bone in his left sholder. Desalle will now have to sit out for the final three rounds of the 2011 MX1 season.

Ryan Dungey took two second place finishes at Unadilla to claim second overall during the ninth round of the 2011 Motocross season. The 2010 champ now trails Ryan Villopoto by just 6 points.

Ryan Villopoto extended his lead in the 2011 AMA Motocross standings with his second win of the season at Unadilla. Villopoto claimed victory during both motos, and now holds 7 points over Ryan Dungey.

The Monster Energy Yamaha team announced today that Carlos Campano will be replacing David Philippaerts for the final three rounds of the 2011 MX1-GP. Philippaerts, who was 7th in the series, suffered broken wrists last week and will not be able to compete for the rest of the season.

Tony Cairoli scored a win and a fourth place during the Loket GP to take second overall for the weekend. Cairoli's second at Loket keeps the red plate on his KTM as the MX1 World Championship heads into the final three races of the season.
