For at least another year, Tony Cairoli will be wearing the number one plate. The Red Bull Teka KTM rider added another championship notch to his belt with a fantastic performance in Gaildorf, Germany.

Ashley Fiolek is just two races away from claiming the 2011 AMA Women's Motocross championship. Fiolek extended her lead to 30 points over Jessica Patterson by taking the overall win last weekend at Southwick.

For the first in his career, Brett Metcalfe claimed an overall AMA Motocross win. Metcalfe took a third and second during a wet MX event at Southwick to claim the overall victory.

I've got some bad news for American Motocross fans. The rumors about Antonio Cairoli heading to the AMA Motocross series are false. The KTM rider has just renewed his contract and will race in the FIM MX1 series again in 2012.

Christophe Pourcel and Antonio Cairoli both took 45-points away from the Matterley Basin round this weekend during the 13th round of the FIM Motocross World Championship.
