Ryan Villopoto had a pretty good year this year. He started the year off by winning the 2011 AMA Supercross championship. He backed that up by winning the 2011 AMA Motocross championship. And, oh yeah, he walked away with a million dollar check after winning all three races at the Monster Energy Cup.
The FIM has just announced the schedule for the 2012 MX1/MX2 season.
After taking a year off, James "Bubba" Stewart is heading back to the arena. Stewart will be racing in both the 2012 AMA Supercross and Motocross seasons this year.

Ryan Villopoto has had a pretty good year. He won his first premier class motocross championship. He followed that up with his first Supercross champions. And to top things off, he took three wins at the Monster Energy Cup to win the $1 million prize.
James Stewart was scheduled to make his return to competitive dirt bike racing this weekend in Las Vegas, but the former champion has pulled out from the event. Stewart and his team decided to miss the one-off event to stay focused on his return in 2012.
