Clement Desalle took his fourth win of the World MX1 season today with a 2-1 result at the Czech GP.
"My shoulder is getting better and better but this track was really difficult, especially for passing" Desalle said. "You had to fight really hard and be a bit aggressive. It was not so cool but you had to show that you were there to make a pass."
Desalle beat out Antonio Cairoli for the overall win, cutting down the gap to the top to 48 points.
"For the Championship,.we can only look to the front and everything can still happen," Desalle continued. "I had to ride hurt and this is a part of motocross that I don't like! But the team has helped me deal with this situation and I have learned a lot."
Cairoli won the first moto but could only manage fourth in moto2.
Honda rider Rui Goncalves took third overall with two podium finishes at Loket.
"I am really happy to be on the podium," Goncalves said. "I felt that I proved it is where I deserve to be as I had good speed all weekend and consistency."
