Roger DeCoster has been part of the Rockstar Makita Suzuki team for 15 years. But after the final event of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross season, DeCoster and Suzuki will part ways.
Rosckstar Makita Suzuki has won numerous Motocross and Supercross championships with DeCoster as the team manager, including this year's title from rookie sensation Ryan Dungey. But Dungey and the Rockstar Makita Suzuki team will have to try and defend their titles next year without the help of DeCoster.
Suzuki has no one lined up yet, but DeCoster will finish out this season, which will give Suzuki time to find a suitable replacement.
"You can never replace an icon like Roger," said Yoshimura R&D of America Vice President Don Sakakura. "However, with Suzuki and Yoshimura's racing DNA still strong as ever, and with the core nucleus of the team staying the same, we are looking forward to defending the 2010's championships. Roger has made great contributions with Suzuki and certainly has the utmost respect, friendship, and our acknowledgement of a job well done. We wish him nothing but good luck in the future."

What about Mike Gosselaar as a wrench - they will probably send over a new mechanic in a box of spark plugs to take his place too... I've been racing since 1968 - have an RM-Z450 and just love it and never heard of Yoshimura.
