Ryan Dungey took both Moto wins at the AMA Motocross event in Millville, Minnesota, making it 6 in a row for the rookie. Dungey now has a 64 point lead over the defending champ, Chad Reed. Kevin Windham took the whole shot during Moto1, but was quickly passed by Dungey. Dungey separated himself from the pack, and finished comfortably in front of Josh Grant. Andrew Short took third during the first Moto.
Moto2 got underway in the same fashion. Ben Townley took the hole shot, but after a few laps, Dungey took over the lead and started to widen the gap. In the end, Dungey finished ahead of Kyle Regal, and Short again took third.
With only 5 races left, Ryan Dungey looks to be the sole contender for the Motocross championship. But the rest of the AMA Motocross crew will get another shot at Dungey next weekend in Washington.
