Ryan Dungey has claimed his fourth consecutive victory in the AMA Motocross. The rookie won both the Moto1 and Moto2 races at RedBud today, as well as the Rockstar Energy Fast Lap competition.
Dungey has won 6 of the last eight motos, and has won the overall at every event this season with the exception of the season opener at Hangtown.
Defending champion Chad Reed finished in second behind Dungey in both races. Reed maintained his second place standing on the overall leaderboard, but Dungey is begining to pull away. Dungey now has 268 points to Reed's 202.
Brett Metcalfe is only one point behind Reed, and took 5th and fourth today at RedBud.
Ben Townley and Andrew Short both had solid showings. Short completed the podium in the first Moto behind Dungey and Reed, and Townley took the last spot on the podium in Moto2.
