Extreme Enduro Racing, described as man and machine against incredibly difficult terrain on a time-clock., has just risen to an entirely new level. The five top promoters came together on August 25 to organize the World Xtreme Enduro Championship (WXEC).

WXEC describes the championship: “The race series is a worldwide tour that culminates in one champion at the end of the year. Riders will be awarded points at each round of the series. The rider who has gathered the most points in the end will be the World Xtreme Enduro Champion.”

Next year will serve as the marketing and promotion of this new Championship, with the official kick off happening in January of 2011 at the Tough One in Shropshire, England.  The WXEC Tour and rulebook will be presented in June of 2010 during the Erzbergrodeo.
