Daytona Entry Hot

Daytona entry list grows

AllAboutBikes News DaytonaBrits Neil Hodgson and Chaz Davies are now both official entries for the 2009 Daytona 200 meeting on March 4-6.

Hodgson is riding a Corona Honda in the American Superbike class while Davies is riding a Millennium Technologies Aprilia RSV in the Daytona Sportbike class.

The event has failed to capture the usual enthusiasm among teams following the series promoter DMG’s changes to the championship structure and class regulations.

Riders and teams had been slow to enter and the event looked to be struggling as deadline time approached for entries but has since picked up and now boasts a more healthy 28 American Superbike entries, 63 Daytona Sportsbike (for the 200 mile race) but the other classes are struggling with just 17 entries for Supersport and 19 in total for the Moto GT endurance race (8 for the GT1 class and 11 for GT2).
