Monster Energy Resigns James 'the Rocket' Rispoli Hot

James 'the Rocket' Rispoli

Defending AMA Pro Motorcycle Super Sport Class Champion James 'the Rocket' Rispoli has now officially resigned with Monster Energy. Starting in Daytona on March 15th, James Rispoli is scheduled to compete in the first of 22 races, during the 11 rounds of the 2012 season.

James Rispoli's Racing Record

James Rispoli has an enviable record, to say the least. His last year as an amateur racer was 2007, during which he earned 16 national titles and 2 AMA Overall Grand Championship Titles. In 2008 and got a number of 1st place finishes and in 2009 he set the AMA National Land Speed Record in the 650cc Twins Class at Bonneville. James hit 151.215 MPH!

Last year Motorcycle-SuperStore.com Supersport racer James 'the Rocket' Rispoli stood on the podium in 8 of 10 races entered. This including celebrated wins at the Barber and New Jersey Motorsport Parks. Then James capped off the season by taking home the Supersport National Championship, East Coast Championship, and coveted Young Gun award as the top 16-21 year old road racer in America.

James Rispoli's Racing Future

This season will see Rispoli joining the Celtic-Orient Express Racing team who has a history of working with up and coming young talent. Rispoli will be defending his #1 National plate in the AMA Pro Motorcycle-SuperStore.com SuperSport Class Championship series.
