Danny Eslick will be moving up in class for the 2012 racing season and he'll be doing it on a Buell. Eslick, who won the Daytona Sportbike championship in 2011, will be racing next year in the AMA Superbike class on a EBR 1190RS.
Eric Buell has confirmed the signing but he isn't saying anything else. Buell and Eslick will wait until sponsorships are in place before elaborating on the 2012 season.
Eslick will be moving up in class in 2012 but he's already pretty comfortable with a Buell machine. Eslick won his first Daytona Sportbike championship in 2009 on the back of a Buell.
Here are some highlights from Eslick's first DSB championship season.
Eslick won't be the only one riding a Buell in 2012. Geoff May will be returning on the Amsoil backed EBR 1190RS for the 2012 season. May finished 10th in the AMA Superbike season last year with seven top ten finishes.
Do you think Eslick and Buell will be able to contend for wins in 2012?
