Harley-Davidson Insurance Signs on as Presenting Sponsor of XR1200 Class

xr1200_IndyIt was a logical choice. Harley-Davidson Insurance will be the presenting sponsor for the XR1200 class this weekend at the Indy GP.

The XR1200 class will be racing twice in front of a huge audience this weekend as fans from around the country and around the world will be coming to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to see the MotoGP.

"We are delighted to have our friends and business associates at Harley-Davidson Insurance Services join us in support of our pioneering races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway," said AMA Pro COO David Atlas. "There couldn't be a more perfect partnership for the event, as the AMA Pro XR1200 races will mark the first time Harley-Davidson machinery has competed at the Brickyard in over 100 years."

The XR1200 paddock will be open to the public for three days during the Indy GP weekend so fans can get a close up look at these Harley racing machines.

"We're excited to introduce the Harley-Davidson Insurance program to road racing fans at the Brickyard," said Steve Piehl, Harley-Davidson Director of Customer Experience. "It's the perfect venue to connect with Harley-Davidson riders and let them know we have insurance designed exclusively for them."

The Harley XR1200 series will race on Saturday and Sunday. SpeedTV will be airing both races on Sunday at 6pm.
