We’ve got nothing but blue skies here in Alabama. The AMA Superbike riders had to fight through the rain during race 1, but they’ll have a dry track this afternoon for the second race at Barber Motorsports Park.
Martin Cardenas took the win during the first Superbike race. It was Cardenas’ first ever AMA Superbike win. Cardenas will be looking to get his first dry track win this afternoon, but Tommy Hayden, Roger Hayden, and Josh Hayes could be tough to beat.
Hayes and Tommy Hayden were absent from the podium for the first time this season at the end of race 1, and you can bet that they’ll be looking for a race win this afternoon.
The AMA Superbike race starts at 3:30. All About Bikes will have live updates throughout the race.
