Live Updates From Barber Motorsports Park: AMA Supersport Race 2

AAB_Rispoli_grid_2The AMA Supersport riders will be heading to the grid soon for their second race of the weekend. Benny Solis took the spoils at the end of race 1, but James Rispoli will be looking to even the score in race 2.

The first AMA Supersport race saw a number of podium contenders go down in the opening laps. Tomas Puerta and David Gaviria both hit the pavement early on, thinning out the field at the front.

If the Supersport riders can keep their bikes rubber side down throughout the second race, any number of riders could be stepping up onto the podium. Rispoli was fastest during the warm-up session, but he’ll have to hold that pace for 17 laps if he wants to take his first victory of the 2011 AMA Supersport season.

The Supersport riders will kick off their second race of the weekend at Barber Motorsports Park at 1:15. AAB will have live updates throughout the race.
