Steve Rapp took the pole position for the XR1200 series at Barber Motorsports Park. Rapp beat out Michael Beck, Shawn Higbee, and Chris Filmore to take the front spot on the grid.
Rapp set the pace at 1’36.715 around the Alabama circuit. Beck, who will start from the second position, was just .16 seconds off of Rapp’s pace.
