The AMA Supersport riders are about to take to the grid for the first race of the weekend at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama. James Rispoli the pace this morning and will start from the pole position.
Rispoli will be joined by Travis Wyman, Benny Solis, and Corey Alexander on the front row.

The AMA riders head off on a warm-up lap around Barber Motorsports Park.
And they're off!
Rispoli and Alexander jump off the line first.
Two riders are down!
The race has been red flagged. Tomas Puerta is down.
Puerta and David Gaviria collided going into turn 3. Both riders are up. An ambulance is on the track to make sure both riders are ok.
The Supersport riders are back in the pits. The race was red-flagged before the first lap was completed.
The AMA riders are heading back out to the track for a warm-up lap. They will be restarting in just a few minutes.
And they're off again!
Rispoli leads the way again off the line.
Rispoli said that he wanted to get out ahead and push the pace, and that's exactly what the Ant Racing rider is doing. Rispoli crosses the line .15 second gap ahead of Elena Myers.
After lap 1: Rispoli - Myers - Solis - Wyman
Travis Wyman brings his back into the dirt. Wyman lost control, but was able to remount and head back out onto the track.
Another rider goes down. Emerson Connor crashes out of the race on lap 2.
Rispoli, Myers, and Solis start to spread the gap.
The top three riders cross the line with more than four seconds between them and fourth place rider Parker.
Benny Solis takes the lead from Rispoli. Rispoli grabs it back. Now Myers takes her turn at the front.
Lap 4: Myers - Solis - Rispoli. The top three riders are lapping in the 1'32s.
Myers, Solis, and Rispoli cross the line nearly neck and neck. Myers has a slight avantage, but Rispoli and Solis are riding in her shadow.
Rispoli retakes the lead.
Rispoli and Solis put a little space in front of Elena. Myers crosses the line a second behind Rispoli.
Fourth place rider Mormon is 8 seconds off of the pace. Mormon is followed by Parker, Kerr, and Gillim.
Lap 9: Solis - Rispoli - Myers - Mormon - Parker - Kerr - Gillim - Nash - Dellinger - Alexander
Solis, Rispoli, and Myers have all dropped their times to the high 1'31s. Solis now has a half second ahead of Rispoli and 5 seconds ahead of Myers.
6 laps to go. Rispoli is trying to cut down the distance, but Solis keeps a solid half second lead.
Solis extends his lead to nearly a second over Rispoli.
Lap 13: Solis - Rispoli - Myers - Morman - Parker - Kerr
It looks like Solis is running away with this one. Solis now has 1.3 seconds over RIspoli. Myers is in third place, but she's 14 seconds behind the top two.
One lap remaining.
Solis has close to three seconds ahead of Rispoli. Solis just needs to make this lap smooth to secure the first race victory of the weekend.
Morman has gained a little time on Myers, but it doesn't look like he'll have enough to knock her off the podium.
Solis wins!
Benny Solis takes the checkers, followed by James Rispoli and Elena Myers. Morman nearly took Myers at the end, but fell .8 seconds short.
