Live Results From Road America: AMA Supersport Race 2

Benny_Solis_Before_the_RaceAt 1:15 today, the AMA Supersport riders will hit the track for the second race of the weekend at the Road America circuit at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. David Gaviria took the first race win, but will have to compete against James Rispoli, Tomas Puerta, and Benny Solis for the victory this afternoon.

Puerta exited the first race with a mechanical error and will be looking to make up some points this afternoon. Rispoli is also eager for a race victory. The Ant Racing rider took the third place spot during the first race and was the fastest rider on the track this morning during warm-ups. But if Rispoli wants the victory, he’ll have to fight off a group of capable Supersport riders.

Puerta, Gaviria, and Solis could easily find the podium today. Travis Wyman, who took second during race 1, should also be fighting at the top. The Supersport race could also see challenges from Corey Alexander, Elena Myers, and Stefano Mesa.
