Dustin Dominguez Riding a Latus Motors Triumph At Road America

Latus_Motors_Triumph_675RDustin Dominguez will ride a new Latus Motors Racing Triumph Daytona 675R in this weekend’s AMA Pro Racing SuperSport round at Road America. While Dustin is currently third in the season points chase, this is the first SuperSport event in which he will be racing for Latus and RS Racecraft. Current plans are to start at Road America and compete in every remaining round of the season.

“We’re always looking for an edge, and we believe the combination of Dustin and Triumph’s new Daytona 675R provides a great platform for our team,” said George Latus. “The 675R already comes with the right racing suspension and brakes from Ohlins and Brembo and Dustin has already won and had podium finishes in the series. With Triumph’s three-cylinder engine providing a great balance of horsepower and torque, we’re really excited about the future.”

Testing for the SuperSport team has been conducted by former Triumph World Supersport factory rider and current Daytona SportBike points leader Jason DiSalvo.

Dominguez, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, has high hopes for the season. He earned his AMA Pro license in 2009, when he won the SuperSport race in Fontana, California and finished second at Topeka, Kansas. In 2010, Dominguez finished third in both Supersport races he entered.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity that George and Ronnie are giving me, and I’m really looking forward to racing the new 675R,” said Dominguez. “It’s an amazing machine. I’m honored to be part of its development and to be chosen as a member of this great team.”
