This is what happens when you crash in the rain at Miller Motorsports Park. Benny Solis was leading the AMA Supersport race when he lost the front end at turn one and slid into the mud.
Solis was just one of many Supersport riders that suffered a similar fate. Colter Dimick, Jose Flores, Phil Horwitz, and at least 5 other riders took their turn in the mud today.
Solis, who won both races at Infineon, can still walk away from Miller with his head held high. Solis was awarded a race victory today for earning the pole position. (The Supersport series is divided into two divisions. Since there are more races in the East division, the West division designated two qualifying sessions to count for race points.
