Photos From Infineon: A Trackside Look at All the AMA Pro Racing Action

Superbike_PodiumLast weekend, the AMA Pro Racing series roared into Infineon for three jam packed days of motorcycle racing. The AMA Superbike, Supersport, and Daytona Sportbike classes all put on a good show, but fans were also treated to XR1200 series and the opening round of the electric motorcycle racing season with the first two rounds of the TTXGP.

Josh Hayes nearly did the double in the AMA Superbike series, but an outstanding performance by Tommy Hayden dashed that hope in the second race. Hayes still holds the lead in the series, but Hayden cut it down to just 6 points.

In the Daytona Sportbike series, Jason DiSalvo won an incredible double. It is the first time in his career that the young Ducati rider has done the double, and the first time that he's won three consecutive races. DiSalvo has won every Daytona Sportbike race so far this season, and currently holds a 37 point lead over Cory West.

Benny Solis was also able to do the double in the AMA Supersport class. Solis rode a dominant pole to finish race during race 1, but had a little more competition during race 2. Still, Solis was able to pull out the victory, taking his first two wins in AMA Supersport.

Steve Atlas showed the Infineon fans just how quick his Brammo motorcycle was during the opening round of the TTXGP. Not only did Atlas and the Brammo team take both wins, they also set a new lap record.

Here are some pictures from all the action at Infineon.
