Martin Cardenas crashed during the warm-up session this morning at Infineon Raceway. The session was red flagged as Cardenas and his motorcycle were carted off the track.
Cardenas was taken to the infield medical center where he was treated for a dislocated shoulder. Cardenas has been released and is cleared for racing this afternoon. Cardenas inched out Blake Young during race 1 on Saturday to claim third place behind Josh Hayes and Tommy Hayden.
Back on the track, Hayes and Hayden led the morning warm-up session. Hayes and Hayden were the only two riders to lap in the 1’37s and will likely be dueling it out again this afternoon for race two.
