Photos From Infineon: A Trackside Look at Saturday’s Races

Danny_EslickIt was a cold and cloudy day at Infineon, but the action on the track was hot. Josh Hayes, Benny Solis, and Jason DiSalvo all stepped up to the top of the podium during the first day of racing at the California circuit.

Josh Hayes won his third consecutive race at the Infineon circuit, and captured his 15th Superbike win of his career. Hayes beat out Tommy Hayden and Martin Cardenas for the win, and earned enough points to take the lead in the points standings.

Jason DiSalvo also sits on top of the point totals, but in the Daytona Sportbike class. DiSalvo won the Daytona 200 at the opening round of the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season, and added to his total with another win today. DiSalvo beat out a determined Jake Holden for the race win.

For the Supersport class, Benny Solis rode to a dominant maiden victory. Solis outpaced the competition from the pole position to win by 8 seconds.

Infineon was also the host of the first round of the TTXGP, which was won by Steve Atlas and Brammo.

Here is a look at all the action.
