With rain on the horizon, the AMA has rescheduled a few races at Infineon. The TTXGP and the XR1200 series will be racing today, Saturday the 14th, instead of Sunday.
Both the XR1200 and the TTXGP had a practice session and a qualifying scheduled for today, but now there will be a qualifying and a race. The TTXGP will race at 5 pm around the Infineon track. The XR1200 series will race at 4:30.
The AMA Supersport, Superbike, and Daytona Sportbike series will proceed as normal.
In the Supersport division, Elena Myers, last year’s winner at Infineon, has scratched for the weekend. Myers broke her wrist a few weeks ago, and has now decided not to compete. Myers came out for the free practice session yesterday, but was not on the grid during today’s qualifying.
