For the last two days, more than 60 AMA riders have been racing around the Miller Motorsports Park track. All four classes were represented during the two day test in Utah, as riders prepared for the second round of the season at the Infineon Raceway.
The AMA riders have had a long break since the opening round of the 2011 racing season, and used Miller to shake off a little bit of the rust before getting back to competitive racing on May 14th.
Josh Hayes, the returning AMA Superbike champion, led the majority of the testing sessions at MMP. Hayes was fastest during 7 of the 8 sessions on his Monster Energy Graves Yamaha, and claimed the fastest lap of the weekend.
