Over the Easter holiday, Elena Myers took to the track for some supermoto practice in California. The practice session didn’t go as planned, as Myers broke her wrist.
Myers has a radial fracture and will likely miss the upcoming AMA Supersport round at Infineon Raceway. The Infineon event is still two and a half weeks away, so Myers may be able to recover on time.
Myers will definitely miss, however, the upcoming testing session at Miller Motorsports park.
Myers, who races in the AMA Supersport division, was the first woman to win an AMA race. Myers currently sits in second place in the AMA Pro Supersport West division. Hopefully she can make it out to the Infineon grid so that she can keep herself in contention for the AMA Supersport championship.
