JT Racing will be the Presenting Sponsor this weekend when JT Racing founders John and Rita Gregory are inducted into the Hall of Fame. After the motorcycle world honors John and Rita Gregory for their legendary past this weekend, JT Racing will be looking to the future with its new line of motocross gear.
The legendary motocross gear company is back and ready for action. JT Racing, which was at the top of the Motocross game in the 1970's, 80's, and 90's, is back with a new line of high end riding gear.
The world will get its first glimpse of the new gear this weekend in Las Vegas when John and Rita Gregory, who founded the company in 1970, are inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. JT Racing will also be the Presenting Sponsor of the event.
“With JT Racing founders John and Rita Gregory becoming members of the Motorcycle Hall of Fame at our induction ceremony, JT Racing is a perfect fit for this gala event," said Jeff Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation. "We're thrilled and honored that this leading company is supporting both the Hall of Fame and the industry as we shine the spotlight on these incredible individuals at this memorable end-of-year celebration.”
But just because John and Rita have reached Hall of Fame status, that doesn't mean that JT
Racing is throwing in the towel. JT Racing will be re-launching its brand this year. The re-launch has been in development for two years, and now ready to show off its new line of equipment, which promises to be some of the best motocross riding gear to date.
JT Racing has always been on top of the motocross game, and they will continue that tradition in 2011.
"What we’ve tried to do is bring back the very best of JT Racing from back in the day. We’ve taken the best JT designs and technical legacies, modernized them with the latest technology and build quality, and repacked them with the highest levels of style, durability and function,” said David Dray, JT Racing's CEO. “We’re bringing back the whole notion of quality and elegance to the motocross world, just as JT Racing did back in the day as it established itself as a world-class motocross brand all those years ago. We're all very excited, and we think riders will be as well when they get a chance to see the new gear.”
JT Racing, which revolutionized the motocross world with the ALS lid, the world's first full face motocross helmet, is introducing a new helmet this year, the ALS-02. JT Racing will also be releasing pants, gloves, and jerseys this year.
JT Racing has proven it's worth throughout this year, and this weekend the motorcycle world honors JT Racing, and John and Rita Gregory, for their historic past. But once this weekend is over, JT Racing will set out to change the motocross world again, and they won't be doing it alone. Over the years, JT Racing has built a loyal following, and there are many legendary racers already throwing their support behind the brand.
“We've got a load of legendary riders supporting JT Racing, too, including Broc Glover, Chuck Sun, Danny Laporte, Marty Smith, Rob Lechien and others,” said Mitch Boehm, a spokesman for JT Racing. “So once this train starts moving during the next few months, it's gonna be hard to slow it down.”
