Rispoli Takes First Career Win

ama_supersport_logo

James Rispoli earned his first AMA Supersport victory today at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Rispoli edged out Tomas Puerta, who was also going for his first ever AMA Supersport win, by just .07 seconds.

The duel opened up when race one winner Joey Pasceralla crashed out of the race on lap 7 of 19. Pascarella had a three second lead when he crashed out, giving the lead to Hunter Nash. But shortly after, Nash had a misstep of his own, and opened the door for Rispoli and Puerta.

With Elena Myers crashing out on the first lap, and J.D. Beach absent from today's competition, it was inevitable that a new face saw the top of the podium.

Puerta was followed by Austin Dehaven, Miles Thornton, and Corey Alexander.
