Suzuki Cycles Shows Support for Myers by Going Pink

AMA_PinkSuzukiElena Myers made history when she became the first woman to win an AMA Supersport class race. At only 16 years old, and with just half of the season over with, Myers will  have plenty of chances to add another win to her record breaking season.

Suzuki cycles is showing how proud they are of Myers by turning the company's website, Suzukicycles.com, pink after every Myers podium finish.

“Elena is a great example of a Suzuki racer. She has a lot of heart, a lot of talent, and now this amazing win to show the world she’s a tough competitor,” said Steve Bortolamedi, the American Suzuki Motor Corporation’s Communications Manager. “We at Suzuki are proud of her, and glad that she’s riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Changing our Suzukicycles.com homepage pink in her honor is our way of supporting her young and promising racing career.”

There are 6 rounds left in the 2010 AMA season, each of which, is a double header. That leaves Myers with 12 chances to turn Suzuki pink.
