The American Pro Road Racing season heads to the California coast this weekend for the West Coast Motor Jam at Infineon Raceway. Jake Zemke will look to keep his top spot at the top after the round four of the American Superbike. Zemke leads the series in points, never finishing below fourth place. Zemke started the season with a double at Daytona, and has consistently been on within the top four ever since.
Tommy Hayden is only three points behind Zemke. Hayden has finished in the top three at every race except for one 6th place finish.
Josh Hayes will look to gain a race win at Infineon Raceway this weekend. Hayes broke Mat Mladin’s seven-straight win streak at Infineon last year. Larry Pegram, who already has a race win this year, will also look to close the gap between himself and Zemke.
Blake Young didn’t start the season off the way that he had hoped, but after winning the last two races, he will look to carry his momentum into the West Coast Motor Jam.
The event at the Infineon Raceway will also mark the first time electric racing will touch American soil. The TTGXP will compete at Infineon on Saturday.
