The Michael Jordan Motorsports Team, the National Guard, and Roger Hayden want you to wear motorcycle safety gear. In new PSA, AMA Superbike rider Roger Hayden says that he never rides without his safety gear, and you shouldn't either.
"Whether you're a beginner or riding for sometime, the pavement is just as hard," Hayden says. "I've been riding for over 20-years and I never ride without my helmet, my gloves, my boots or my leathers."
Hayden, who was one of the top riders during the 2011 AMA Superbike season, says that on the track he only has to worry about riding. But for many of us, most of our riding is done on the street where we have to deal with cars, curbs, traffic, potholes, and several other obstacles.
"Make sure you always wear your safety gear. It might just save your life."
Here's the PSA from Roger Hayden, MJM, and The National Guard.
