Motorcycle Safety Foundation Graduates 6 Millionth Student

MSFThe roads just got a little safer. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation announced today that more than 6 million students have graduated from its safety course. The MSF has close to 10,000 teachers and 2,000 training sites worldwide.

"We have RiderCourses across the nation and around the globe, often during weekdays, and virtually every weekend of the year," said Robert Gladden, vice president of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. "Plus, MSF offers 23 different courses to meet the needs of any level of rider. We congratulate all our safety professionals, as well as the students.

"They are helping us with one of our main goals of developing good rider character, leading motorcyclists to make better decisions out on the road and in traffic."

The MSF has a variety of  training programs to help beginners learn the basics of motorcycling, as well advanced classes to help experienced riders fine tune their skills.

"Backed by thorough research, MSF curriculum developers create courses to serve the wide variety of today's riders and their needs and interests," said Dr. Ray Ochs, MSF director of training systems. "From the Basic RiderCourse to a much more advanced day on the track, from standard motorcycles to scooters to three-wheel motorcycles, from small bikes to large, we cover it all."

I took the course, and did'nt get much out of it, there two instructors, one was a great instructor, the other a sexist pompass *ss, who spent more class time telling his incredibly long winded personal life stories, than he did teaching what we needed to know. I quit the class, I didnt feel I got my moneys worth.
I wish they would have just the one guy teach the course. I have since gone out and taught myself.
